In Memory of Bob Graves
On August 23, 2019, we lost a great advisor, leader and friend when Bob Graves passed away unexpectedly. He left behind a legacy full of integrity and generosity as an advisor – one that will be forever cherished.
Bob truly touched the hearts of many in his life and selflessly supported several organizations he was passionate about, including Azusa Pacific School of Music, Shepherd’s Pantry, Disabled American Veterans, Yellowstone Forever. You can click any of those links to leave a donation to one or more of those organizations in his memory.
Bob was a family man who loved Italian food and had an entrepreneurial mindset and kind heart. Bob started his first business at eight years old, making deliveries from the pharmacy to his elderly neighbors during the frigid winters in his hometown of Buffalo, New York. Later, he joined the Air Force, served our country and then returned to school to earn his B.A. from La Verne University. He then moved on to earn his CFP® certification from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Bob married his wife, Sandy, in 1982, and together they founded Graves Financial Wealth Management in 1987, building an extraordinary work environment for their employees and a successful and loyal client following.
In 2015, Bob partnered with Carson Group in an effort to provide transparency, trust and accountability to further enhance his clients’ experience.
Bob is survived by his wife, two children, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
He will be missed greatly by those of us who were blessed to have known him on a more personal level.
